Due to time restraints we did not have time to shoot these coins individually in a more professional manner. Nonetheless, you get the idea. The first six coins all have various reverses that indicate they are made out of 1oz of pure silver. The two poker coins (Texas Hold'em and Four of A Kind have a four-suites reverse as show below. The last two images are of the same coin (front and back); it is marked as 1oz .999 Silver on the edge of the coin. All these coins are priced at $65 each.

The last time the manufacturer of these "flipping
coins" broke a die, they decided to create a new one with an all-new look. I
swear that it is a likeness of Pamela Anderson Lee but the owners of the Mint are
close-mouthed on this one. Just my opinion ... which may not be worth 2c!

This is a flawless "cameo" proof strike; the backgrounds are perfect reflective "blazing-mirrors" (which show up jet-black in scans) and the designs are frosty white (which, of course show up white in scans). The contrast between the mirror-like backgrounds and designs is stunning! It weighs one-ounce, is struck in .999 pure silver and measures 39 mm (a bit larger than a silver dollar).

This gamblers coin depicts one of the ever-popular "Art Deco" designs seen in many variations in the United States and abroad, on ash trays, shallow bowls, and tokens issued in a legal gambling area of California. The ash trays are thought to date from about the 1920s through possibly as late as the 1940s (See a couple of those ashtrays here). In addition to ash trays, the design was known to have been coined into an aluminum token that was given away at the door of the Colony Club Burlesque show located in Gardena, CA, a Los Angeles area city where card clubs were legal in that era. These were given away in the late 1940s through the early 1950s. Chances are that many of the gamblers carried these around as a novelty! Now, this hilarious vintage design that brought so many folks chuckles and smiles back in the "good 'ol days" is back as a "Poker Hole-Card Protector" for use when playing Texas Hold 'Em or other forms of poker such as Omaha or Seven 7 Card Stud, where players can use this coin to secure their down cards during play. It's for those folks looking for something really unusual and of extremely high quality. Of course coin collectors will want one of these too!

This set is comprised of two different 756th
Airlift Squadron "Challenge Coins" or medals (call 'em what you want) that represent one of the rarest
military related medal sets ever put together! Only
ten sets were made in pure silver and the mintage of this item was closed
forever! There were no other "singles" made of either
piece of the silver version -- just 10 coins from each die pairing were made and
assembled into 10 sets -- that's it!
The subject matter is perhaps a bit nonsensical when combined
into one coin, but they were made for the few that want something so rare that
only nine other people in the entire world can own one! Now that's rarity!
The front (referred to as the obverse
by coin collectors) of both coins features the 756th Airlift Squadron
motif. The reverse of Coin#1 features a front view of old geezer
and attractive female walking forward while Coin#2 shows of a rear view
depicting exactly what the old fart is up to! Yes, he's an old 756th'er
having fun! We swear to it! Ha!
The reverses of both coins combined is
taken from one of the ever-popular "Art Deco"
designs seen in many variations in the United States and abroad, on ash trays and shallow
bowls, which are thought to date from about the 1920s through possibly as late
as the 1940s. See a couple of those

Playboy's sexy commemorative medals shows a gorgeous Playmate of the Month on the

Created by The London Mint in England, these 37 mm diameter half-ounce medals are made of pure
.999 fine silver and feature a special colorized portrait of the Playmates
for those months, which
were done in Switzerland.
These are the only two rare prototype issues produced by Playboy
in 2002 to test-market the concept to see if it was feasible to introduce a
full-fledged 12-Piece series to commemorate their 50th Anniversary in 2004.
According to the London Mint and Playboy magazine only
1000 pieces of each of these prototypes were made which is very low for any
collectable associated with Playboy! These are the exact same medals
that were being offered by other vendors at considerably more than what we are
asking!
In fact until we negotiated a deal to buy out the last of these from London Mint
at a better price we used to sell them for $39.99 each! Once they're gone -- they're gone!

Very Important Notice: While the production of these coins was in progress, the company that made the capsules to accommodate the coins went out of business and the Minting facility was forced to switch over to a different capsule with a flat-face. The earliest coins minted (which is what we still offer) had a rich crystal clear protective coating of polyurethane with a domed effect that gave the color image a high-end almost three-dimensional look. These coins fit perfectly into the older capsules that had the convex (domed) top but would not fit into the flat-faced Air-Tite capsules that they had to switch over to. This forced the Mint to start coating the images on the coins with a thin, flat layer of polyurethane with the end result being that most sets that are now in existence contain the flat versions of these coins (which are less eye appealing than the domed versions). Since we were fortunate enough to have several hundred of the older domed type capsules on hand, we were able to request that additional sets be made with the original domed polyurethane finish for us to sell. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only company that has any of these original sets left to offer! Please note that due to the limited number of domed capsules we had, the coins with the domed-finish are only available in the complete sets (with or without the case). Individual pieces may still be ordered but will be of the newer flat finish. These are still very attractive, just not quite as rich-looking as the domed versions.

Playboy
Playmate 2004
2-Piece Silver Set
In February of 2004, a private company contracted with the London Mint for exclusive rights to have the 2004 Playmate Of The Year coins struck in 1/2 oz. 999 Pure Silver. They had issues made for February and March and then discontinued the project due to a change in ownership, who preferred to avoid adult theme items and began phasing them out. According to a spokesman overseeing the minting of these coins, "it would be safe to say that fewer than 100 of each were made in pure .999 Fine Silver before the project was cancelled. No others were made." These rare silver versions of the February and March coins sat in a warehouse for years until the company decided to sell off their entire overage of left-over "girlie coins" to us. In that group were seven of each of the half-ounce February and March Playmate Of The Year coins shown above. They are in custom cases with a certificate that notes they are made of pure .999 Fine Silver and are designated as being struck in .999 Fine Silver on the reverse of each coin. This mini-set of silver versions of these coins are by far one of the rarest of any of the Playboy collectables ever marketed! Not even Playboy offered any of these for sale preferring to sell the cheaper silver-clad versions to their customers.

Would you
have thought you'd ever see a legal tender coin struck by a legitimate
Commonwealth nation with the Queen of England on one side and the Playboy Bunny
on the other? Yet here is is! Yes, that's right -- the Cook Islands
in cooperation with Playboy Magazine celebrated this event on a $1 coin!
The issue offered here comes in three versions. Var-1 is plated with
pure 24 karat gold over copper-nickel, Var-2 is 1oz. pure silver and Var-3 is
pure 24 karat gold over 1oz. pure silver. This is the first time the Cook
Islands has ever gold plated a $1 coin but it was deemed fitting since this was
Playboy's "Golden Anniversary."

(actually referred to as a "1 oz. silver round" by collectors), that first
appeared on the market in about the mid to late 1980's that was an extremely popular piece
at trade shows and novelty outlets! All of a sudden -- for no apparent reason -- it
disappeared from the scene. Now, for the first time in over a decade, we finally
have more of this design available!
This silver piece is a flawless "cameo" proof-like
strike; the backgrounds are perfect reflective "blazing-mirrors" (which show up
jet-black in scans) and the designs are frosty white (which, of course show up white in
scans). The contrast between the mirror-like backgrounds and designs is stunning!
It weighs one-ounce, is struck in .999 pure silver and measures 39 mm (a bit larger
than a silver dollar).
The reverse features an attractive twisted rope design bordering
the rim along with a statement attesting to the medal's weight and fineness in silver.
The center of the reverse offers a large circle with a special satin finish
suitable for engraving if desired.

a gag to a friend who has everything.

This one brings together one of the classic
"silver round" designs, that first appeared at coin shows in about the
mid-to-late 1980's, with an extremely popular Art Deco "Gentleman Goosing
Woman" design that was used on the back of risqué' ashtrays of the period.
(See a couple
of those ashtrays here).
Now, these hilarious designs that brought so many folks
chuckles and smiles back in the "good 'ol days" is back as a whimsical
"Heads & Tails Flipping Coin" that you can carry in your pocket.

arguably the most popular design on the road! Over the decades it
has became so popular that today it is seen all

We had the dies hand-cut by our old-world English
engraver in exacting detail to one of the more popular poses seen on the
road. The piece offered in this auction is one of the first 100 bronze specimens
struck from our dies! Our production department struck it as a trial for
our inspection with their plain-back engravable "trial reverse" die while we
await our new "poker hand" reverse for this coin (which will be struck
in silver). Thus, the
first 100 strikes (as the one offered here) are RARE "trial strikes"
that will never be struck in this die pairing again! 100 pieces is
it! If you enjoy owning something truly rare or just want to be the
first one on the block to own one - then this is the piece for you!

The Ceeco Mint's answer to the Woman's Liberation Movement of the 1970s was far less adventurous than USSC's but still interesting and popular. It features a bride in a mini skirt carrying her groom over the threshold. While it is not a nude is is still in high demand by collectors of nudes as a curiosity from the times in which it was made and as a companion bar to the nude produced by USSC -- (or maybe it's the bride in a mini that makes it popular -- who knows?). This bar measures 1.96" x 1.14", is one-ounce of .999 pure silver which is more than an old U.S. Silver Dollar. The reverse of this bar plain. Add this one to your collection today!

This Set of 12 Zodiac Sexual Positions Pennies were struck or "rolled" onto genuine United States Lincoln cents! Specially made roller-dies elongate the cents and impart the designs simultaneously just like the elongated souvenir cents you see for sale at places like Disney World or Cedar Point! These were originally made to sell to truckers from an adult book store located next to a truck stop back in the 1980s and were purchased for resale by the thousands by enterprising truckers who knew where to get them and carried them all over the country and sold them to other truckers. Eventually they also entered the coin collector market but then all of a sudden they disappeared. We wondered what ever happened to them and after some investigation learned the fellow that made them passed and the book store he owned was sold years ago. We then located the heir to the dies and asked him to dust them off and make a few hundred sets for us. Here they are! Order yours today!

"Janet Jackson wasn't first to shock the nation with an exposed right breast! In fact, another infamous "breast shot" that rocked the nation occurred way back in 1916!"
Janet Jackson wasn't the first female to shock the nation with an
exposed right breast! In fact, another infamous "breast shot"
that rocked the nation occurred way back in 1916! That year the United States Mint
began unveiling new coinage designs to replace the bland Liberty-Head coins minted from
1892 through 1916. The new designs were intended to reacquaint the public with more
classical styles reminiscent of ancient Greece, and as President Theodore Roosevelt put
it, replace coins that "did not meet the artistic designs that our foreign neighbors
were using."
Undoubtedly, the most interesting design introduced, was that of Herman
Atkins MacNeil for the obverse (front) of quarter-dollar denomination. It featured a
standing Ms. Liberty with an exposed right breast! However, as artistic as the
design was, it was greeted with shock! Even though it was approved by a joint
commission made up of the Treasury Department and the Commission Of Fine Arts, it caused
immediate controversy with the wives of government officials in Washington and then with
the Society for the Suppression of Vice. According to Walter Breen, in his
Encyclopedia Of United States & Colonial Coins:
" ... the new design ... though cherished by the general public, proved (to be) the downfall of MacNeil's design. Followers of the unlamented Anthony Comstock, who had waged war on "immorality," noticed that Ms. Liberty's drapery exposed her right nipple, including (on the sharpest strikings) a realistic areola. Through their Society for the Suppression of Vice, the guardians of prudery at once began exerting political pressure on the Treasury Department to revoke authorization for these "immoral" coins, and to withdraw them from circulation. By the time they reached Treasury Secretary William G. McAdoo, their success was in sight."
Though the Treasury Department never recalled the "nude"
coins (produced in late December 1916/early January 1917), they immediately called a halt
to their production and modified the design to cover Ms. Liberty's breast with a coat of
medieval chain mail. The coat of chain mail remained throughout the balance of the
coin's mintage from mid 1917 through 1930 (after which it was replaced by today's familiar
Washington quarter designs)!
This gem quality strike from the Collectors Mint, celebrates the
original design of the 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter! A design that was embraced by
the general public but snuffed out by bureaucrats of the time! It is struck in pure
silver planchet and is 1-1/2 " (39 mm) in diameter (slightly larger than a US silver
dollar) The reverse shows "COPY" in accordance with the Hobby Protection
Act of 1973 -- making the coin legal to own.
