| NOTE: Please review these images to see the awesome quality and beauty of the designs. These photographs were taken professionally for our catalog. The photos for the various coins and sets offered below were from an old scanner and do not capture the true essence of the coins. However, they are all just as nice as the silver dollar coin shown here! |

The Dollar and Half Dollar coins each weigh one-ounce, are struck
in .999 pure silver and measures 39 mm (a bit larger than a U.S. silver dollar). The
Dollar is clearly marked as silver on its reverse where the denomination is noted as ONE
SILVER DOLLAR while the Half Dollar, (which is normally struck in copper-nickel), is edge
marked ".999 SILVER".
The Quarter Dollar, (normally struck golden-bronze), is struck in
one half ounce .999 fine silver and carries a serial number prefixed by "AG" to
indicate it is silver. It's serial number is found in the cartouche located just
above the date and serves to number the entire set. The silver versions of the
Quarter Dollar and Half Dollar are only available in these special silver proof sets and
were limited to just 500 pieces world-wide.

The $2.50 gold coin weighs 1/20 oz in .999
pure gold and their purity and weight are noted on the coins to the left of the
denomination.
For most folks, this will be the first time they have
ever seen the Sealand gold $2.50 as they were never intended to be
offered on to the numismatic market; all gold $1.00 pieces were originally sold
in a tiny gold bezel for wearing on a chain (by the original distributor of
the coins) while the $2.50 pieces were earmarked to a firm that held an
exclusive contract to use it in various forms of jewelry. Their contract
has expired and we purchased the remaining supply. They are original, (unmounted in jewelry), and taken
straight out of the anti-tarnish tissue they were wrapped in!

This Image Shows The Rare Scalloped Edge Variety
Laying On Top Of A Regular Reeded Edge Variety
The coin offered here was struck in error
with an "experimental" Scalloped Edge. We found these in a hoard
of Sealand coins that we purchased some time ago without even knowing the
variety existed until we recently opened all the tubes. A quick call to
the original distributor revealed that they had never seen the variety
previously either. They, in turn, called the minting facility to find out what
happened and learned that a small number of these coins were struck with what
they described as an "experimental collar" that was not intended to be
used with this coin at all; the errors apparently "slipped in" with
the regular strikes by mistake! A total count of the entire remaining
inventory of this coin indicates that fewer than 150 were struck before the
error was caught and then corrected!
This is a flawless "cameo" proof strike; the
backgrounds are perfect reflective "blazing-mirrors" (which show up
jet-black in scans) and the designs are frosty white (which, of course show up
white in scans). The contrast between the mirror-like backgrounds and
design is stunning! It weighs about 26 grams, is struck in cupro-nickel
and measures 39 mm (a bit larger than a U.S. silver dollar). Add
this one to your collection today!
