2005-P Five-Cents Ocean In View Doubled Die Obverse #3 Matte Uncirculated

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR-DDO#3:  DDO#3 exhibits minor doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST, the RT of LIBERTY, the date (best on the 2) and on the upper serif of the designer's initial J of JF.

Markers:  Obverse - None significant.  Reverse - The reverse is DDR#9.  Found in Westward Journey Nickel Set.

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#1/DDR#1:  DDR#1 exhibits widespread doubling on three areas of foliage on the two tall trees in the foreground.  Black arrows point to doubling while red arrows point to the origin of the doubling.

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#3/DDR#3:  DDR#3 boasts doubling in two areas of foliage on the two tall trees in the foreground. Black arrows point to doubling while red arrows point to the origin of the doubling.

2005-P Five-Cents Ocean In View Doubled Die Reverse #4 Matte Uncirculated

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#4/DDR#4:  DDR#4 shows an extremely strong doubled fork of the tree to the right in the foreground. DDR#1 and this one are undoubtedly the two nicest doubled dies found on the series thus far. Black arrows point to doubling while red arrows point to the origin of the doubling.

2005-P Five-Cents Ocean In View Doubled Die Reverse #6 Matte Uncirculated

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#6/DDR#6:  DDR#6 involves very strong doubling on the two lowest branches on the left side of the tree to the right.  Black arrows point to doubling while red arrows point to the origin of the doubling.

Markers:  Obverse - A very minor doubled die, too minor to list, is found on the obverse letters of IN GOD WE TRUST best seen on the G of GOD and RU of TRUST.  Reverse - None significant.   Found in Westward Journey Nickel Set.

2005-P Five-Cents Ocean In View Doubled Die Reverse #7 Matte Uncirculated

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#7/DDR#7:  DDR#7 displays very wide hook-like doubling extending off of the second from the lowest branch on the left side of the tree to the right.  The doubling originates from the branch directly below.  This is undoubtedly the widest spread doubled die of all listed thus far!  Black arrows point to doubling while red arrows point to the origin of the doubling.

Markers:  Obverse - A very minor doubled die, too minor to list, is found on the obverse letters of IN GOD WE TRUST best seen on the G of GOD, similar to the obverse doubled die on DDR#6 but even more minor.  Reverse - None significant. Found in Mint Set.

2005-P Five-Cents Ocean In View Doubled Die Reverse #8 Matte Uncirculated

Variety Coin Register Number: VCR#8/DDR#8:  DDR#8 displays a rectangular area of doubling atop the lowest left branch of the tree furthest to the right.   Black arrows point to doubling.

Markers:  Obverse - Numerous die scratches; perhaps some of the more distinctive around the date.  Reverse - Numerous die scratches; those around the US of PLURIBUS shown. Found in Westward Journey Nickel Set.
