Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!!!
This lunatic is trouble!
eBay seller,"Gayz", is
an outright liar and is dishonest in her dealings. She asked why we collected $2.95
for "postage and insurance" but only spent 83c for postage; and demanded a
refund for the difference. It was explained to her that the amount did not just
represent "postage and insurance" but rather, as was
very clearly stated in the auction, "postage, handling and
insurance." It was further explained to her, (to make a long story
short), that we generally use the United States Parcel Service (USPS) only for insurance
on items that we choose to insure in excess of $50 because that type of insurance (the
blue and white slip) offers, the added protection of a tracking number and a signature
requirement (to deliver), but that we usually use private insurance for values under $50
because it is cheaper and does not require the "INSURED" imprint on the package
that 29 years in this business has taught us acts more as a "Steal
Me - I'm Valuable" sign than anything else (and can not be tracked
back to the thief).
She found the "handling charges" acceptable but found
our supplying private insurance, (although it is cheaper to the customer, more secure, and
was paid for by us), unacceptable and demanded the equivalent of about 62c back. We
refused on general principals, since all the services she paid for were supplied and we
refuse to be bullied by a lunatic who thinks she knows how best to run our business
better than we do.
Interestingly, the buyer also complained that we did not send her
a "statement" attesting to the silver content of the "coin" (this
complaint is alluded to in her negative feedback to me and made directly in her response
to my negative feedback to her). The fact is, we never offered a "statement of
silver purity" and we didn't need to as the "statement of silver content"
is marked right on the coin itself!!! (exactly as we described in the auction).
We show below, a macrophotograph of the entire coin and a close-up
of the statement: ".999 FINE SILVER" that can be
seen as part of the design, just above the words "PEACE PRIZE" on the reverse of
the medal. Persons wishing to take a look at this auction to confirm that she is
lying about what I promised to deliver can look at the auction here: 2134146819 .
(I have also included an exact copy of the auction for those that are viewing this
at a date after eBay has removed the auction for viewing that can be found below.)
You can see for yourself that "Gayz" is a liar and not to be trusted as a
seller or buyer. If the least little thing bothers her, (like having to pay for
services rendered that she fully agreed to when she bid), she will turn on you like a mad
dog.
Avoid this eBay'er like the plague! She is a
liar, she is dishonest and more trouble that she is worth!
16 Negatives on her record (and growing) shows her for exactly what she is!
This medal depicts a beautiful rendition of Martin Luther King Jr. on the obverse (front) while the flip side reads: "CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER / NOBEL PRIZE WINNER / "We Must Not Allow Any Force To Make Us Feel Like We Dont Count. Maintain A Sense Of Dignity And Respect ... We Shall Overcome" CM©88," along with a statement attesting to the medal's weight and fineness in silver. This is one of the classic designs of the Crown Mint which operated from the mid 1980s through the mid 1990s. It weighs one-ounce, is struck in .999 pure silver and measures 39 mm (a bit larger than a silver dollar).
Free Offer: Upon request, we will encapsulate this item in a high quality, crystal clear, Air-tite® coin holder and include a clear Lucite display stand free of charge. Please add $1.50 additional (for a total of $4.45) for p/h if this option is chosen as it must be shipped in a crush-proof box.
