"Brass Plated"
Lincoln Cent Strikes!

All of our certified coins were graded and certified by JT Stanton!

Shown here is one of the Brass Plated Planchet Strikes (left) next to a normal Red strike.

We were first to offer the 1985-D "Brass-Plated Cents" after having them confirmed by the U.S. Mint Assay Department as being inadvertently struck on "yellowish" brass-plated planchets (rather than on the normal "red" copper-plated blanks).  See the Mint Letter here:  Mint Letter.  Now, well over over a decade later, we offer brass-plated strikes not only on the 1985-D but also on the 1983, & 1998 dated cents!   Like the 1985-D strikes, these newer discoveries exhibit outstanding, full-blazing, yellowish-brass surfaces. We offer them assembled in sets with a normal "red" specimen for comparison (both coins are neatly set side by side in a custom labeled flip).  Even the certified pieces will come with a regular "red" example for comparison.  The supply is very limited so order early and add one to your collection today!
