A PQ ICG Certified MS64
Rare 1947-S/D
Over Mint Mark
Roosevelt Dime
In Mint State Grade!

This is a photomicrograph of the Over Mint Mark taken from the actual coin being offered here

This is an example of the rare 1947-S/D dime.   It is listed in The Cherrypickers' Guide to Rare Die Varieties, by Bill Fivaz and J.T. Stanton as FS-10c-012 (where it is listed at $350.00 for MS63 -- which is the highest grade they list it in).  It is also listed by Walter Breen as Breen#3705 and by CONECA as OMM-002.  It is listed by me in my Variety Coin Register as VCR#1/OMM#1 (the variety listed by CONECA as OMM#1 is not actually an OMM at all but a S over Inverted S).  It's a very attractive piece with some cloudiness on the obverse and a nearly full blazing white reverse.  It is free or any major  marks or stains and a very solid MS64.   You'll find this coin an extremely attractive, problem-free, addition to your collection!
There will be no surprises.  The coin delivered from this auction will be exactly as shown and described.  This is a truly rare coin that is not offered often and the first Mint State specimen we have had in stock!  The last one we had was an ANACS graded AU-58 that we sold at $175.  The true rarity of this coin dictates that it is one with a bright future that we feel is destined to do nothing but increase in value.

Our Price ICG-64 $375.00
